Limewire wont download?

Hello, I previously asked this question but nothing helped.





I have 200gigs in my C drive.





I have Limewire send my downloads to my C drive, however, when I try to download very large files (around 900mb or so) Limewire wont download--it's not a source problem because many other users are downloading it as well.





My internet connection can handle downloading such big files but Limewire just wont execute the download.





However, if I look for smaller files (200mb) or so it downloads perfectly. Anyone know what the problem may be?

A: First check to make sure that LimeWire is not already running in your system tray (next to the time). If you see it, click the lime icon to restore LimeWire (you may need to click the left arrow "%26lt;" button to expand the system tray).





If LimeWire is not running, you may have uninstalled it, or a spyware removal program may have miscategorized LimeWire as spyware and removed it from your computer (such as AOL's anti-spyware software), yet the shortcut still appears on your Windows desktop or taskbar. Please update to the latest version of LimeWire by downloading the installer (existing PRO customers can download here).





If LimeWire is not running and is installed on your Windows system yet you still cannot launch it, Java may be corrupted. To correct the problem, uninstall the Java Runtime Environment from Add/Remove Programs (go to: Start %26gt; Control Panel) and then redownload and install it here.

I think it's just cause we aren't stupid enough to pay for the upgraded version.
Reply:i've never had this problem, so i really don't know. maybe you should buy the program, but i've never bought it and mine will download movies. So i'm not at all sure.

Yahoo! mail download attachments question????????

strange thing happens when downloading my attachments from yahoo mail, any attachment with any extension downloading great except the extensions of microsoft office attachments like XLS, DOC, PPS especially the power point attachments PPS..... I use download accelerator plus as my download manager and when it starts to download the microsoft office attachments it starts great then the speed begins to slow down and the download stops!!!!!! same thing happens when I use the normal internet explorer download manager???? any help please?????

Attaching a null suffix like .dat will often help that. The recipient only needs to take that off using rename afterwards.
Reply:I can't download the simplest file- even a Word file. When I do it, they go directly to Picture Manager. From there, they are lost to use. I cleaned up the system with a virus scan and with two spy-bot, ad ware scans and it did not improve.

Vista download window won't go away!?

Whenever I download something the basic windows download dialog opens up and shows me the progress of my download. Well, the problem is that after it finishes downloading it always stays at 99% for about 3-4 minutes even though I can access the file and it shows up in the location I selected. And yes, this happens even when I check the "close dialog box when download is complete".





So my question is, why does this window not close when it's done downloading, or why does it take so long for it to close. Is this a fault in Vista?

you might download very big files (like over 300Mbs), it would take longer time to complete (when going to 99%) -- the bigger file, the longer take .

I had notice of people don't have a respect for my pc and they just go ahead download without my permisson.. i would like to put this stop with download and prevent them to download. do you know any that program to download that give you a stop download unless get a password to let it process?

Download problem??!!?

My computer can only download files less than 9mbs and not more than that. i've tried using download manager or the save target as method it will show "the server replies that you dont have permission to download". I download the same files with diifferent computer and it works. What's the problem with my computer? Is there any way i can make it download larger files? By the my connection speed is 11.0mbps (excellent).

the problem appears to be with your browser, if you are using internet explorer, open it then click on tools %26gt;%26gt; click on internet options%26gt;%26gt; then click on the security tab and then click on dafault level.

Downloading question - using VEOH - after I download from Veoh, will I be able to burn it to disc?

I found a video on VEOH and I want to download it... But then, I want to burn it to a disk so I can play it in a DVD player... What do I need? VEOH said to download their beta program so I can start downloading videos but can I burn the video afterwards or does it stay in some kind of VEOH TV library so I can only watch on my computer?


I currently have NERO to burn movies to DVD. If i download the VEOH beta thing will I be able to burn to a disk? If not, how do I do it?

You could try TubeHunter, it downloads any video from a list of sites that it has.

Download a song off myspace?

Hey how do i download a song off myspace onto itunes? the song IS NOT on limewire i've looked so please dont tell me to look there please someone take me threw the steps. On the myspace music page it says (add download ect..) when i click download it says "artist has enabled downloads for this song" so i messaged him and he said i can download it he dont know why it says that?! PLEASE help. thanks

Please check popup alerting message to see if the downloading is being blocked by Active-X control.
